This course is for technicians involved in the diagnosis and repair of petrol engine management systems. Whilst some operating conditions and faults can be indicated by the use of a diagnostic tester other tools and techniques are required to accurately analyse ignition system performance and detect system faults.

The course covers modern spark ignition technologies such as wasted spark systems and coil-on-plug systems.
